Faculty Position Opening (Assistant Professor or Above) Institute of Health and Welfare Policy National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) The Institute of Health and Welfare Policy at National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) invites applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or higher. We welcome candidates from diverse academic backgrounds related to health and welfare policy, public health, social welfare, social work, the social sciences, or other relevant disciplines. Candidates with an interest in interdisciplinary research and international collaboration are especially encouraged to apply. NYCU is one of the top research universities in Taiwan. The Institute of Health and Welfare Policy is well-known for its excellence in research and education in areas such as health systems, policy evaluation, health insurance, and welfare policies. We are committed to cultivating leaders in academic research and public service, with the mission of advancing societal well-being through rigorous research and evidence-based policy. Qualifications: We seek candidates with solid research and teaching records, or strong potential, in fields such as health and welfare policy, public health, social work, or the social sciences. Candidates should hold a Ph.D. in a related discipline and demonstrate the ability to conduct independent research and teach in English, along with a strong commitment to both teaching and academic service. Experience in international academic engagement and collaboration is especially preferred. 2026 Promoting Health Equity and Digital Health Education among Vulnerable Populations: International Insights and Future Directions featuring the Lifestyle Medicine Forum In the context of growing global health inequalities and the rapid advancement of digital health, identifying innovative approaches and fostering international collaboration to improve the health and quality of life of vulnerable populations has become a critical public health priority. This symposium focuses on digital health education, food literacy, and lifestyle interventions, bringing together experts from Taiwan and abroad to share the latest research findings and practical experiences. Through international dialogue, the event aims to explore the application and future directions of health promotion strategies.
